Q: How quickly do I get my commission check?
A: If your completed file has been reviewed by our Broker of Record, then you can receive your commission check within two business days after your settlement. Many checks are processed within one business day.
Q: What do I pay and are there any hidden fees?
A: $55 per month for our office and technology fee; $500 a year for Errors and Omissions Insurance (billed in $125 quarterly increments); $25 once a year in January for a profit share system fee; 29 cents per color copy; 6 cents per black and white copy with the first 200 copies free. There are NO hidden fees, with all costs itemized on your monthly invoice.
Q: Do I have to get my own Errors & Omissions Insurance?
A: No, your E&O Insurance is procured by the office using a group rate.
Q: Are there any transaction fees?
A: A $50 transaction fee is deducted from the commission check if you have a sale. The fee is $60 if you are earning 100% commission.
Q: Do you charge fees for company relocation referrals?
A: No. There are NO FEES added by Keller Williams Realty for accepting company referrals.
Q: Am I required to recommend your vendors?
A: No. We have built relationships with excellent individuals and companies, yet you are under no obligation to use them.
Q: How long does it take to transfer my license?
A: It can be done instantly. The moment we mail your license transfer form, you may practice real estate as a Keller Williams agent.
Q: Is Keller Williams a national franchise?
A: Yes, actually, KW is an International franchise. Keller Williams Realty became the largest real estate company in North America, by agent count, as of September 9, 2013. We have over 125,000 agents in more than 710 Market Centers around the world. Gary Keller and Joe Williams founded Keller Williams in Austin, Texas in 1983.
Q: How long has Keller Williams Real Estate been in Allentown, Pennsylvania?
A: We officially opened our doors on Thursday, November 4th, 2004. We currently have more than 126 agents.
Q: Do you allow or encourage Real Estate Teams?
A: Yes. Team building is taught regularly at Keller Williams and team members are added at a reduced cap. Because of our commitment to family, husband and wife teams can join Keller Williams under only one cap. You may be an individual agent. If you become so busy with sales, then we will help you hire people so you can build a business within a business.
Q: What do I do next?
A: 1) Fill out the appropriate papers with our Team Leader.
2) Attend a brief orientation to better utilize the tools we have available.
3) Meet with Team Leader to create your personal Success Plan.
4) Enjoy and wonder why you didn’t do this sooner!
